Anil Bhaskar Chaudhary, Sc.D., is the Principal Scientist at Applied Optimization, Inc. and leads the additive manufacturing department. Dr. Chaudhary started the company in 1995, ten years after earning his doctorate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A diligent scientist throughout his career, Dr. Chaudhary has experience in multiple engineering disciplines:

- Scholastic process
Dr. Chaudhary’s core expertise is in computational mathematics, which he translates into frameworks for problem solving and engineering applications. His personal framework as Principal Scientist is the integration of physics, mechanics, materials, electromagnetics, controls, and calculus to visualize metaphors for a solution that could be implemented.
He and his wife, Anijali, have been married for the last twenty-five years with two children and have lived in the Dayton area for twenty-four years. He is an avid chess enthusiast and scuba diver.
